Special Assembly: A Heartwarming Welcome & Tribute to Doctors

Today marked a joyful return as the corridors of Stjohns School came alive with laughter, warmth, and the vibrant energy of our dear students after a refreshing summer break. The morning began with a special assembly, celebrating not just the beginning of a new term, but also the noble occasion of Doctor’s Day.

The assembly opened with a heartfelt welcome to the students and teachers, setting a positive tone for the months ahead. Students were reminded of the value of good health, gratitude, and compassion — qualities that lie at the heart of every doctor’s journey.

To honour the tireless dedication and selfless service of doctors, our young learners presented thoughtful speeches, poems, and a short skit that beautifully highlighted the role of doctors as true heroes in white coats. A short quiz kept the spirit alive and engaging, helping students learn more about the medical profession in a fun way.
