St. John’s School, Ward 1, Mehruli is a co-educational Secondary School duly recognized by the Directorate of Education, Govt. of Delhi since 1990 catering to the Educational need and requirement of the habitants of areas of Mehrauli and adjoining villages, with a significant strength of about 1200 boys and girls. The school has sent 18 batches so far in the All India Secondary School Examination under Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The students regularly take part in Zonal and District level Competitions being organized by Govt. of Delhi and win number of Prizes and awards every year. In strict compliance to the directives of the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi, the school follows the Govt. prescribed admission guidelines for the admission of 25% of the students admitted in its entry class-NURSERY from the EWS and Disadvantaged group as per provisions of RTE Act,2009
Under the aegis of the Department of Environment, Govt. of Delhi, the school is actively involved in various projects to preserve and protect the Delhi Environment. Some glimpses of active participation in eco friendly events and appreciation by the Chief Minister of Delhi are being displayed herein.
