Kargil Vijay Diwas Celebration

On 25th July, our school celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas to honour the bravery and sacrifices of Indian soldiers during the 1999 Kargil War. The event was marked by a special ceremony where we invited Army personnel, Mr. Upender Rawat, as our guest of honour.

- *Tree Plantation Drive*: As a symbol of our commitment to the environment and the nation, Mr. Rawat planted a sapling on school grounds.
- *Principal Ma'am's Speech*: Our Principal ma'am delivered an insightful speech highlighting the significance of Kargil Vijay Diwas and the importance of remembering the sacrifices made by our soldiers.
- *Student Dance Performance*: Our students showcased their talent with a captivating dance performance that paid tribute to the bravery of Indian soldiers.


Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated on July 26 to commemorate India's victory in the Kargil War. It honours the bravery and sacrifice of Indian soldiers who fought against Pakistani infiltrators in the Kargil district of Jammu and Kashmir. The day serves as a reminder of the importance of national unity, patriotism and the sacrifices made by our armed forces.

The Kargil Vijay Diwas celebration was a meaningful way to pay tribute to our nation's heroes. We are grateful to Mr. Upender Rawat for sharing his experiences and inspiring our students. The event reinforced the values of patriotism, courage and sacrifice, which are essential for building a strong and united nation.
